Talking Broncos Capture First for Northwest Forensics Conference Season

The Boise State speech and debate team made a strong showing at the Fred Scheller Invitational Tournament, earning the Talking Broncos first-place honors in Division I debate standings for the 2009-2010 Northwest Forensics Conference season.

Hosted by Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., Jan. 29-31, the meet ended with the Talking Broncos taking second place in both individual events and debate sweepstakes, just behind tournament champion Carroll College.
